General Description

Villa Carinthia is new for the 2005 season. A 3-bedroom detached villa, with views across open countryside. Villa Carinthia has been designed to cater for six people in comfort, with two double bedrooms and one twin room. For larger family groups, there is a pull-out sofa bed in the large living area. The master bedroom is en-suite and features direct access to the patio and pool. There is parking for two vehicles. Several excellent restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. Surroundings Description

Beautiful beaches are located in small coves along the coast within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Most are rocky with swimming platforms that extend out into the sea. Southward along the forested coastline are the resorts of Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna. A new road,linking the A4 Autostrada with the Porec area is scheduled to open in early 2005. With the opening, journey times will be reduced and Trieste Airport approx 1 1/4 hrs drive(RyanAir/Alitalia). The airports of Ljublijana (EasyJet) and Venice Treviso (RyanAir) and Marco Polo (Thomsonfly/ EasyJet) may be about 2 1/4 hours drive. Speculation is rife that a low-cost airline is about to announce flights from UK to Pula - approx 30 minute drive. Car hire (or use of a car) is essential. Porec (beaches, shopping, marina, Euphrasius Basilica) - 15 mins
Vrsar (beaches, marina) - 15 mins.
Limski Kanal (Lim Fjord) - 20 mins
Rovinj - 30 mins. Motovun - truffle country - 45 mins.
Pula (Roman Amphitheatre)- 40 mins
Nearby attractions include tennis courts, jogging trails, horse riding, mini-golf, sports gyms, water-skiing, yachting and diving, paintball. A cycle route links Villa Carinthia with Porec and the coast. The well-marked bike paths make cycling an excellent way to experience the gently rolling countryside.
